Voluntary Benefits Program (effective 10/23/09)
The university offers a voluntary benefits program for full-time faculty, staff and bargaining unit employees. With this program, you can purchase specific products online and pay for them over time through convenient payroll deduction. Current offerings include:

- Homeowner’s Insurance Choice
A selection of some of the top-rated insurers will provide you with a competitive quote. You can compare plans side by side and determine if this is an option that meets your needs. The Choice Auto and Homeowner’s Insurance Program can cover more than just your vehicle and home – you may also be eligible for coverage on a rental property, boat or motor home.
Multiple discounts may be available to you such as:
- Special group discount of 10% or more for JHU faculty and staff
- Long term JHU service discount based on number of years employed
- Payroll deduction discount when premium paid through payroll
- Multi-policy, multi-car, safe driver and anti-theft device discounts
